Cathedral Academy
The Cathedral Academy is a private Christian school that operates as a ministry of the Cathedral of Praise church. Cathedral Academy began teaching in 1999 in order to provide students with a high-quality academic education based around Christian morals and guidelines. The school offers Kindergarten classes to both four and five year olds as well as elementary, middle, and high school grades. Overall, the school consists of over 250 students and 26 faculty members. The school has accreditation from both the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Cathedral Academy classes focus on academic skills as well as Bible study. An average day of a high school student involves studying English, math, science, social studies, the Bible, and a foreign language and the school also offers several electives including philosophy and public speaking. There are plenty of athletic programs available for students as well, including football, baseball, and cheerleading. One of the central aims of the school is to instill Christian morals and values in its student body while providing an excellent education.

Northwood Academy
Northwood Academy is a ministry of the non-denominational Northwood Church and lies within North Charleston. The school provides students with a quality academic education while attending classes in a loving Christian environment. In addition to academic programs, the school also teaches bible class to all of its students and strives to give each individual the foundation for living a Christian lifestyle. Classes at Northwood Academy begin in the pre-school facility that teaches children from nursery to Kindergarten. Elementary, middle, and high school grades are divided between the Lower School and Upper School. Academics are the school's primary focus, and the Upper School offers College Board Advanced Placement classes. Supplementing the main academic areas is a variety of other classes, including music, physical education, and Bible study. Northwood also has numerous athletic teams for students to join. Charleston Christian School
Charleston Christian School is a private school offered as a ministry of Church Creek Presbyterian Church. The school aims to provide both a strong academic and Biblical framework to children that will help guide them throughout their lives. Children attend academic classes as well as Biblical classes and also participate in extracurricular activities. One of the annual projects of the school is the "Serve-A-Thon" where students donate their time to a community service project. Charleston Christian School provides classes for students from First Grade to Eighth Grade.
