Whether you’re looking for quality produce and food items, naturally made health and beauty products, artisan made crafts and clothing, or simply want to sample some of the delicious prepared foods while listening to live music in the Market Cafe, the Summerville Farmer’s Market is a wonderful place to spend your Saturday mornings. To help you find just what you’re looking for, we’ve share some of the top vendors and things you’ll find at the market.

Most people first think of produce and vegetables when they head to the farmer’s market and you won’t be disappointed with the variety you’ll find in Summerville. Gruber Farm, which has been in operation since 1948, offers a range of fresh, naturally-grown, seasonal fruits and vegetables, including apples, beans, carrots, peppers, kale, collards, plums, onions, tomatoes, pumpkins and much more. Hickory Bluff Berry Farm will keep you freshly stocked with summer berry favorites: strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and with homemade berry jams year-round. Hydroponically grown tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers are available from Kurios Farms and at Ron’s Roots you’ll find fresh herbs, produce and flowers.

All meat and dairy lovers have ample options to choose from - including Keegan-Filion Farm, which sells grass-fed, non-GMO eggs, cheese, pork, beef and poultry. Solo Verdi Meats offers beef products from cows that are genetically superior, raised humanely, and then dry-aged to perfection. If you want fresh shrimp or eggs, stop by Wabi Sabi Farm or for another pasture-raised option for pork and eggs try Sunny Cedars Farm or Wishbone Heritage Farm. Looking for true artisan-crafted local cheeses, stop by the Charleston Artisan Cheesehouse.

The farmer’s market is also a great place to find hand-crafted items including soaps and natural skin care products by Southern Naturals or Morning Glory Garden. There are also finely made bakery and confectionary items from Caladiums Creations and Holy City Cupcakes. If you’re looking for a special treat for your four-legged friend, visit the Chew Factory or Morning Glory Garden.

These are just a few of the amazing vendors and the products you’ll find at the Summerville Farmers' Market. The market is located in the First Citizens Bank parking lot behind Summerville Town Hall at 200 South Main Street and is open from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
